Barriers, biases and beliefs: exploring the role of psychological wellbeing in student and staff development.

Oxford High School, the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST) and Positive are delighted to invite you to a stimulating evening revealing the results of cutting-edge research into improving and maintaining psychological health, wellbeing and resilience in schools.

October 11th, experts in wellbeing and academic attainment will come together at Oxford High School to deliver insights from the latest advances in psychology and neuroscience, currently being delivered as part of the Positive Teacher Programme. Speakers will include Dr Brian Marien (Co-Founder, Positive Group), Dr Carole Edmond (CEO, The Regard Group) and staff and students from Oxford High School.

Over the last two years Positive has delivered the Positive Teacher Programme to all 25 GDST schools and academies, reaching over 240 teachers and staff and over 10,000 students. At this event you will hear about the impact the programme has had so far, how Oxford High are incorporating Positive’s cognitive and behavioural tools into their school culture, and the plans that Positive and the GDST have moving forwards for supporting psychological health, wellbeing and performance. You will also have the chance to participate in an informal Q&A and a networking drinks reception.

We do hope you can join us. Tickets are free but must be booked in advance. Please click here to secure your place.
