Positive Leaders is a blended learning experience. Leaders take part in 6 x 90-minute live and interactive learning sessions. Outside of these, leaders are supported to put science into action with our online learning platform and the Positive Toolkit app.

Put your mind at ease

Who is the programme for?

Positive Leaders is intended for leaders at all levels in organisations. Small group sizes enable our psychologists to position the content so it speaks to the specific needs of the participants, regardless of their seniority. In addition, the skills we teach are core psychological skills, required by all leaders. The tools will work for leaders regardless of position, and can be powerfully applied in a wide variety of contexts.

How long does the programme take?

The Positive Leaders Programme combines 6 x 90-minute live sessions with online and social learning. For each session, participants will complete pre-work (typically up to 15 mins), the live session itself (90 mins), and post-session challenges and practice (implemented on the job). In most cases we recommend spacing the sessions out over a defined 3-month period.

What’s the purpose of My.Positive and is it necessary to complete the programme?

My.Positive is Positive’s learning platform. It is integral to Positive Leaders – it houses all pre-work and participants’ tools and challenges. It also includes around 50 hours of additional guided learning content, including interactive videos, questionnaires and other materials, that enable participants to dig deeper into the topics that are most relevant to them.

Does Positive Leaders enable behavioural change?

90% of leadership interventions do not have a sustainable impact (Beer, 2016). Our psychologists have designed Positive Leaders to maximise the chances of long-term success. As well as providing guidance on success factors, we equip participants with specially designed tools and support them in carrying out Positive challenges to help them build new skills that can be sustained over time.
