MB BS DCH DRCOG MSc (Psychol) MRCGP
Brian trained in medicine and gained a Masters in Health Psychology from Surrey University before going on to train in cognitive and behavioural psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, London. He worked as a specialist in the Academic Department of Psychological Medicine, St. Bartholomew’s Hospital. Brian is now Co-Founder and Director of the Positive Group.

Will is one of Positive’s Co-Founders and specialises in organisational behaviour change. He has spent the last 10 years working with large corporates, universities and schools to achieve key learning outcomes and behavioural change to supports psychological wellbeing at individual, team and organisational levels. Will is passionate about using multidisciplinary approaches to improving psychological health in organisations, with significant experience across the banking, accountancy and pharmaceutical sectors.

Hattie is fascinated by human behaviour and how we thrive. She has a 1st class degree in Human Sciences from Oxford, and an MSc in Public Health. She spent 4 years as a Manager in McKinsey’s healthcare practice, and was COO of psychology start-up Potentialife, founded by Harvard’s Tal Ben-Shahar.

Sinéad is a chartered psychologist and Head of Product at Positive, working in the development and delivery of programmes across the corporate and education sectors. Sinéad heads up Positive’s delivery team and is passionate about increasing individual and group understanding of the science of human behaviour, and embedding this knowledge into organisational practice to improve psychological wellbeing, relationships and performance.

Toby is a Programme Director for The Positive Group with a fascination for how to embed healthy human behaviours within schools, universities and businesses. He is particularly driven by how individuals and teams can effectively recover, connect, adapt and learn.

Jen combines an academic background in Physiology, Psychology and Psychiatry with over ten years of experience in operational roles in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. As a consultant for the last decade, Jen has worked with senior leaders across a wide variety of sectors specialising in creating high-performing, resilient teams.

Alice is a Clinical Psychologist. She worked in NHS psychological services for ten years before setting up in private practice, where she offers therapy and coaching. Alice brings extensive experience in the translation and application of psychological approaches in business and in high-performance sports, to promote wellbeing, resilience and sustainable performance.

Clare gained a Masters in Occupational & Organisational Psychology and has considerable experience as a consultant and coach. Clare runs a London clinic in a number of physical therapies, working with a diverse range of clients. Clare also delivers seminars on physical and psychological health and wellness to corporate clients.

Eloise spent the first 10 years of her working career in Corporate Banking and Management Consultancy roles. She returned to the field of Psychology further to being awarded a scholarship by the Medical Research Council to study Social, Genetic & Developmental Psychiatry at King’s College London. Eloise’s PhD was focused upon Psychological Resilience and she has a number of publications which consider protective factors for psychological wellbeing.

Juliet joined the Positive team from a career in finance, bringing with her a long-standing fascination with psychology and a passion for science. At Positive, Juliet facilitates the smooth-running of deliveries by looking after client communication and administrative requirements.

Valentina studied at the University of Genoa, Italy, obtaining a BA and MA in Foreign Modern Languages and Literatures as well as an Executive Master in European Project Design and Management. Her interest in educational technologies came from tutoring other adults, children and teenagers, where she encountered many undiagnosed learning difficulties. After moving to the UK, Valentina submitted a proposal to the University of Oxford and subsequently completed an MSc in Education. She then started working as a Project Coordinator at Healthcare Learning, an e-learning provider specialising in the medical sector, and she is now Technical Project Manager for the Positive Group.

Shona is an English Language and Linguistics graduate with a profound appreciation for both creativity and science. She is passionate about the importance of mental health awareness and is currently Marketing and Communications Lead at Positive.

MSc
Harriet is the data and analytics lead at Positive Group. She specialises in using a range of techniques to obtain qualitative and quantitative data in order to provide focused insights to organisations. Harriet is skilled at creating a narrative which can build engagement and momentum around behaviour and culture change. Harriet is a qualified lawyer and has a Masters in Psychology.

Caro works on Positive’s Education Team. She trained as a teacher with Teach First, then taught at both primary and secondary schools for 12 years, recently working as an adolescent coach. She believes strongly in the need for children and young people to build positive psychological habits for their future.

Colm is responsible for the Positive brand and oversees the company’s creative output, including app and tool development, online support platforms, workbooks, animation and illustration. He has over 15 years’ experience, working with major international brands such as Nike, Tate, Unilever and NetJets.

Sophia is a Clinical Psychologist, trained in a number of evidence-based psychological approaches, with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) forming a large part of her work. Sophia has worked in a variety of clinical settings with a range of client groups across the lifespan.

Eleanor comes from a finance background having worked in various sectors for nine years. She has joined Positive as a Bookkeeper and is responsible for overseeing the payables and receivables. Eleanor is also currently studying towards a BA in Criminology with Sociology.
